i know it's already old school, but evidently my nephew is giving me his gamecube -- he has moved on to the wii, which, of course, also plays gamecube games, making the gamecube platform redundant. i'm looking for suggestions as to what might be some fun games.


i'm not a huge gamer, so i will prolly get a few really good games rather than invest in a whole pile of 'em. i tend to like sports games (b-ball and soccer especially), and also like fighting games (bushido blade, medal of honor). i also like the less "serious" racing games (crash bandicoot, mario karts). i'm not really sure i'm into the games where you play for 70-100 hours until you reach the end (though i have enjoyed playing tomb raider in the past).

now that i have proven how last gen i am as far as my gaming goes -- any suggestions for gamecube possibilities?
