How is the Titanic smashing into the Tardis answering any questions from season 1? For that matter, I'm curious how the Titanic was able to make a hole in the Tardis at all? I admit at first I thought, "Oh, because they said in season 1 he traveled on the Titanic." But that was Christopher Eccleston's incarnation of the Doctor.
