Do away with the crime-fighting superhero aspect as well, I'm pretty sure most kids can't 'relate' to that either.
I don't buy the 'single life more interesting' thing for a second. a lot of that change comes from age and responsibility. Spidey is (was) still young and wild, its just a copout.
By the way, how does this effect the Marvel universe? Are Peter and Mary Jane (and their friends whatever), the only ones who've been reset to their teen years, while all the other heroes are still the same age? So if Iron Man meets Spiderman in the next issue, will he not remember him, and he'll be meeting a teenager?
