Jamie-Lynn's pregnancy notwithstanding, why did Thomas Nelson think this book was a good idea in the first place? I genuinely feel sorry for this family, but it seems to me an utter lack of parenting has been the keynote for the bad choices that the Spears children seem to keep making. Allowing their eldest daughter to be sold as a pop music sex object hardly speaks of adequate parenting to me. Amazing. Really makes me wonder what happened to "discernment" at Thomas Nelson.
