LIAM MICHAELS is a wealthy artist, photographer and art dealer. He is also AZRAEL, the immortal Angel of Death who was placed here to fight true evil. He is a Voidmaster and can travel through and manipulate the multiple dimensions of the Multiverse, a series of infinite alternative dimensions that exist in parallel with the human dimension. Liam can manipulate the dimensions to create worlds that are paradises, or, for special guests like demon-controlled terrorists, he can create the bleakest of environments that can imprison them for all time. On New Year’s Eve, Liam intercepts two Muslim terrorists who are in the process of setting off a briefcase-size neutron bomb in a Times Square hotel. In the process, he discovers that the terrorists are allied with a demon he’s been fighting for over three thousand years. The demon’s goal is world domination through economic power, facilitated by the chaos resulting from massive terrorist attacks. Liam must find and stop the demon and his organization before the world is brought to its knees by economic chaos and widespread nuclear destruction.
