Does anyone know what or why the art section is not posting any new art?

Since the new site, I am having a difficult time navigating and not sure if I am missing something.

I notice tons of graphic art, but nothing by artists who post original works.

There are several reasons for this.

First and foremost, we had to figure out what format and look & feel would suit the Creative Works sections (artwork, poetry, & short stories) on the new site. Finding time to experiment with that took some time. The blame for this falls entirely on me and my time constraints.

Secondly and more seriously, Tony Hines, our Creative Works Editor, who selects and posts all those wonderful pieces of art and poetry and prose, has been diagnosed with a serious illness that has caused him to take a step back from various aspects of his life. For a time, we all were in waiting mode, trying to determine if Tony would be well enough to continue in his role.

I'm happy to report that I recently spoke to him about this very topic, and he still maintains his passion and desire to continue with the Creative Works department, so I think you'll be seeing an upswing in content very soon.

For your part, you're not doing anything wrong in how you find new stuff. Just like everything else on Infuze, anything new posted to the Creative Works departments will appear both on the front page of Infuze itself, and on the departmental pages that you can reach through the main menu at the very top of the page.

I am so sorry to hear about Tony. But God does work in our lives, and I will be praying for him.
