Bad selections but I can see your points. Halo 3 is a great multiplayer game, but the campaign mode is short and the story lacking. You could tell Bungie was looking toward their future franchise. Rock Band interesting selection, but not the best game. Assassin's Creed has been fun but nothing provocative. Super Mario Galaxies is an interesting pick, but it is the same recycled story time and time again. Mass Effect was a great story and sound and is revoluntionary. But the combat system needs to be tweaked before it can be considered the best game. The best game of 2007? You should try Call of Duty 4-really the only choice. Witcher is pretty good. It deserves honorable mention at least. Come on guys, I used to dominate this video game section. Don't let me down lol.
