It's that time of year where music execs are jockeying for just the right time to launch their late season releases.  Apparently, last week and this week weren't high on their priority list.  But, nonetheless, here are a few that we're going to keep our eye on:

Audio Day Dream - Blake Lewis: This youngster beat-boxed and "too-cooled" his way to runner-up on this past season of American Idol.  The question now is whether or not he'll be able to charm audiences through a whole album.  We're betting he's a one-hit wonder but are willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Heima (DVD) - Sigor Ros: Chronicling a series of free concerts the eclectic band gave in their native homeland of Iceland throughout the summer of 2006, this is a must-have for fans!

Rufus Does Judy at Carnegie Hall - Rufus Wainwright: A novel idea coupled with a huge talent in Wainwright in a live setting promises to be nothing short of interesting.

Carnival II: Memoirs of An Immigrant - Wyclef Jean: One of the more interesting and intelligent voices in hip-hop returns and brings along guest artists as diverse as Norah Jones, T.I., and Serj Tankian.

Hopefully next week will be a bit more exciting!
