The reality of surrender to God has come up a lot lately for me in
various times of worship and times of prayer both corporately and
privately. Letting go and handing over the reins to Him is so
important in the reality of trusting and knowing Him as
Lord/Father/Savior/Lover/Friend.

I don’t have an iPod or an mp3 player yet. YET! But lately the most played cds in my car and on my computer iTunes are : “A Collision” by David Crowder Band, Leeland’s “Sound of Melodies” and “2007 Grammy Nominees” (specifically for the tracks “Crazy” by Gnarls Barkley, “Hide and Seek” by Imogen Heap, and “Save Room” by John Legend. I believe, however, the winner for most played cd is “Beautiful People” by Jason Upton. |

For some, the arrival of summer means vacations to the beach. For students it’s a break from school. Many look ahead to June, July and August in dread of endless sweaty hours of mowing the lawn in the hot sun . For me, the arrival of summer means festival season. My initiation into the music festival scene was unexpected. |
