July 2008 brings the long-awaited release of the final chapter of the Dominion Trilogy. Here, at long last, is your first look at the until now top secret storyline of Merciless. This is the same text that will appear on the inside jacket of the book.

Here we are. About two months ago, I opened myself up to your questions about the Dominion Trilogy. I got lots of great questions, and now, as promised, here are my answers.

It goes without saying that there are MAJOR SPOILERS discussed in this article for both Relentless and Fearless, so don't read this unless you've read both books!

There are days when I don't particularly love everything about my job. Today was not one of those days.

I'm hip-deep in working on Merciless, the final novel in the Dominion Trilogy. And to me, this is the ultimate chapter of the story, in every conceivable meaning of the word. It's the culmination that everything has been building to. It's all pay-off, all climax.

But in building this story, I've been faced with a very difficult decision: Do I answer every unanswered question from the previous two books?
