Marvel presents an action packed preview of Punisher and Spidey teaming up to hunt down Kraven. What's not to love?
Written by MATT FRACTION
Pencils by CORY WALKER
Cover by ARIEL OLIVETTI
hen your friendly neighborhood is infested with super-villains, who ya gonna call? As Punisher War Journal #13 reveals, it's the dream team of Punisher and Spider-Man who specialize in cleaning up the villains scattered throughout Manhattan after a botched bank robbery! Acclaimed writer Matt Fraction (Immortal Iron Fist, The Order) and fan favorite artist Cory Walker (The Irredeemable Ant-Man, Invincible) begin a new three-part arc reintroducing the classic-and brutal-villain known as Kraven the Hunter! So, the Punisher has a unique way of dealing with criminals, a mindset that calls for explosions, violence and a tasty dessert after. Fortunately, Spider-Man is a bit more sane and guest stars, hoping to keep the terrified Rhino alive long enough to be put in jail-but the Punisher and a dozen missiles have something to say about that!

TimeShift is a radical new first-person shooter that gives you control over time. That's right: you can freeze and rewind time, both to give you greater advantages over your enemies.
The good folks at Sierra Interactive provided us with this extensive Q&A that covers all of the basics, so sit back, relax, and find out what kind of gaming innovations await you on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC at the end of October.
INFUZE: When is TimeShift releasing? On what platforms?
Ben Serviss: TimeShift will be released on the Xbox 360 and PC on October 30th of this year, with the PS3 version following shortly after before the year's end.
Will TimeShift feature multiplayer?
Yes. Our multiplayer is an integral part of the TimeShift experience. With support for sixteen players, an infinite number of custom modes, and a killer way to incorporate time control into multiplayer via our revolutionary Time Grenade mechanic, the multiplayer game is just as strong as the single-player campaign. I would even say that our MP campaign is as strong as any of the more hyped titles of this Christmas season.
How long would it take an average player to finish the game?
On average, the single-player campaign lasts about twenty to twenty-five hours, depending on the player's skill level.

Written by SIMON SPURRIER
Art by TAN ENG HUAT
Cover by MICHAEL TURNER
The Sentinel of the Spaceways soars once more in the all new Silver Surfer: In Thy Name #1 (of 4), as the Surfer finds himself embroiled in a conflict he may not be able to win! In Thy Name takes the Surfer into the farthest depths of space where he discovers a threat he can't ignore! In this timely and relevant tale of a utopia taken over by an enlightened group who subjugate the masses in the name of the greater good, the Silver Surfer is drawn into their conflict and must choose a side. But can he possibly take action when he may be dealing with powers far greater -- and deadlier -- than his own? With the combination of dirty politics, organ stealing pirates, demonic beasts and more enemies waiting in the shadows, the former herald of Galactus is about to find out that heaven can indeed be hell!

There are a handful of upcoming games that INFUZE talks about frequently because of their strong storytelling components. These titles could very possibly change the way that stories are experienced through interactive games. One of these titles is Mass Effect, an Xbox 360 exclusive coming in November from BioWare.
BioWare is a name that gamers know very well; this is the company that created the hugely popular role-playing game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, which had one of the best original stories ever told in the Star Wars universe. But KOTOR was built upon the traditional rules of role-playing games: dialogue trees with non-playing characters and turn-based action scenes.
Mass Effect is building upon those foundations but breaking the rules at the same time. For example, instead of the traditional dialogue tree where your screen will present you with a list of potential things you can say, a truncated list of responses are presented that represent a certain type of answer. You could respond with sincerity, with action, with snark, and more. Your character then responds on-screen with a pre-scripted answer that follows the directive you gave. The twist is that these simplified choices given to you speed up the selection process to the point where the narrative never stops. It's literally like watching an interactive movie where you control the outcome of every scene, and there are no pauses while you fiddle around making decisions. Added to that are the emotive, photo-realistic characters created with the game's next-gen graphics and often featured in flawless close-up camera angles, and you've got yourself an experience like none ever seen on a gaming platform.

INFUZE is proud to present this exclusive 32-page preview of Black: The Birth of Evil, the first of three graphic novel adaptations of Ted Dekker's Circle Trilogy. In an unprecedented move, Dekker's Circle Media will release all three graphic novels, based on the books of the same name, Black, Red, and White, simulataneously in early November.
Written by TED DEKKER
Adapted by MATT HANSEN & BOB STRACHAN
Art by RICARDO RATTON, EDUARDO PANSICA, & IG BARROS
The Circle Trilogy tells the epic story of Thomas Hunter, a man that stands between the annihilation of two worlds, separated only by his dreams. By day's end, three million people will be carriers of the deadliest virus in history. There is no vaccine. There is no anti-virus. Thomas is the world's only hope, and he's already been killed today. Twice.
